Tareeeq is a voice-first wellness platform designed specifically for UAE commuters. We're currently in development and accepting applications for our Early Member program (launching Q2-Q3 2026).

Early Member Application Data
When you apply to join our Early Member program, we collect:
- Personal Information: Full name, email address, WhatsApp number
- Commute Details: Commute start and end locations (city/area level only, not exact addresses), commute frequency, current commute activities
- Preferences: Self-reported stress level (1-10 scale), smartphone type (iPhone/Android)
- Optional: Why you want to join (helps us understand your needs)
What We DON'T Collect (Yet)
During the application phase, we do NOT collect:
- Voice recordings
- GPS coordinates or precise location data
- Payment information
- Usage data or analytics
- Any sensitive health information beyond self-reported stress levels
3. How We Use Your Information
Application Processing
- Review and select Early Members (100 spots available)
- Contact you about your application status
- Invite you to the beta program when ready
Product Development
- Understand commuter needs and pain points
- Design features that match your commute patterns
- Prioritize which routes and use cases to support first
Communication
- Send program updates via email or WhatsApp
- Share development progress and launch timeline
- Invite you to testing sessions or feedback calls
4. How We Store Your Data
Your application data is stored securely using:
- Airtable: Industry-standard cloud database with encryption at rest and in transit
- Access Control: Only core team members can view application data
- Retention: Application data is kept until the program launches (Q2-Q3 2026), then transferred to our main platform or deleted per your preference
5. Data Sharing & Third Parties
We DO NOT sell your data. Period.
Who Has Access:
- Core Team: Tareeeq founders and developers (2-3 people) for application review
- Service Providers: Airtable (database hosting) - subject to their privacy policy
We Will NEVER:
- Sell your data to advertisers, data brokers, or marketing companies
- Share your personal information with other Early Members
- Use your data for purposes beyond Tareeeq development
6. Your Rights
You have complete control over your data:
Access
Request a copy of all data we have about you at any time.
Correction
Update any information in your application (email us anytime).
Deletion
Withdraw your application and request full deletion of your data.
Portability
Receive your data in a standard format (JSON/CSV).
Opt-Out
Unsubscribe from communications while keeping your spot (or withdraw completely).

7. When the Product Launches
When Tareeeq's beta launches (Q2-Q3 2026), we'll ask for your explicit consent to:
- Process voice data for stress detection (real-time only, never stored)
- Use location data for arrival detection and cultural content (optional)
- Track wellness progress (stored locally on your device)
- Collect anonymous usage analytics to improve the product
You'll get a separate, detailed privacy policy before the beta begins. Your Early Member application data will NOT automatically transfer without your permission.
8. Children's Privacy
Tareeeq is not intended for anyone under 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you're under 18, please do not apply.
9. International Data Transfers
Your data is stored in secure data centers that may be located outside the UAE (via Airtable's infrastructure). We ensure any transfers comply with applicable data protection laws.
10. Security Measures
We protect your data using:
- Encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS)
- Encryption at rest (database-level)
- Access controls (team members only)
- Regular security audits
- Secure API authentication
While no system is 100% secure, we use industry best practices to protect your information.

Our application website uses minimal tracking:
- Essential: Form functionality (no tracking cookies)
- Analytics (optional): If enabled, we may use Google Analytics to understand how people use the site (you can block this with browser settings)
- No Advertising: We do NOT use advertising cookies or pixels

We may update this privacy policy as we develop Tareeeq. Significant changes will be communicated via:
- Email notification to all Early Member applicants
